Global collapse is inevitable, and by many accounts, already begun. In the previous post of this series, I predicted that it’ll be very clear that peak growth is behind is us by 2040, and that collapse will be well under way a decade later. By the end of the century, our current modern society, with cheap coffee, freedom of speech, tap water, and the like, will be a distant memory.

Grim as the future might look, there’s a big difference between society collapsing into cannibalistic anarchy or a slow crumble like the decline and fall of the Roman Empire. How things will look in 2100 I don’t know, but here is how I believe things will play out barring any major catastrophic event.

In this series, I explore the collapse of modern civilization.
